
About Benito
Benito Mendizabal has been involved in sports for well over a decade. He played college baseball at both Seton Hill University and Eckerd College. After playing, he transitioned into the coaching at the high school level. Then he advanced his career as a college baseball coach (Ave Maria University, Wheeling University, and Indiana University of Pennsylvania). His seven years of coaching experience helped to increase athletes’ performances on the field, both physically and mentally. Additionally, for the past couple of years, he has been working with high school athletes as a consultant to help them get recruited to play college baseball.
Benito graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2017 with a BS in Psychology, followed by an MBA from Wheeling University in 2020. He is currently enrolled and taking classes for a Master’s Degree in Sport and Performance Psychology from Commonwealth University and will be a Certified Mental Performance Consultant through the Association for Applied Sports Psychology (Fall 2025).
